Meet John

I landed in the travel business after leaving the wine industry for a great adventure traveling through Asia and Australia. That experience propelled me to work with some of the world's leading tour operators listed by Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler.

Returning to my roots in North Carolina, I started Cagle Travel to blend my two passions of travel and wine together. Over 40 countries and six continents later, I have never looked back. I completed my Level2 WSET certification from the Napa Valley Wine Academy and enjoy helping wine shops, wineries, and culinary groups build their wine club brand through travel.

Whether I am working on a honeymoon for a first time traveler, a bucket list trip for someone who has been everywhere, or a wine club group looking to explore together and strengthen their community, I love helping people travel the right way: slow, local, and authentic.

When I am back home in North Carolina, I can probably be found listening to live music, exploring a North Carolina winery, or being disappointed by NC State sports.
